THE JOAN DECOTIS FOUNDATION

Raising awareness of lung cancer and supporting promising clinical trials aimed at finding a cure.

Millions of people worldwide have bravely fought lung disease. Joan DeCotis—teacher, wife, sister, mother, and grandmother—was one of them. She was able to survive lung cancer for an unprecedented number of years due to her participation in experimental drug trials funded by critical research dollars.

To honor Joan and keep the fight going, the senior leadership team at DeCotis, along with close family members and friends, created the Joan DeCotis Foundation. As a result of its fundraising efforts, including an annual foundation gala, the organization partners with numerous research teams, doctors, and hospitals, helping to fund their mission to discover innovative treatments for lung cancer.
