DeCotis Insurance Associates welcomes the recent addition of Carissa Olink to their Providence office. As a Sales Producer, Carissa adds her extensive 10 years of insurance experience to the organization, further strengthening its services and consistent focus on customer satisfaction. Her background as an underwriter and retail agent provides the perfect foundation to help other retail agents place specialty risks in the Excess and Surplus lines arena at DeCotis Insurance, focusing on the Rhode Island and Connecticut territory.
Carissa previously worked at Amica Insurance as an underwriter while attending Rhode Island College, later earning her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She then worked for USI Insurance as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, specializing in Middle Market Construction Accounts and Manufacturers.
A native Rhode Islander, Carissa has a passion for helping people. She is a member of the Young Leaders Circle through United Way of Rhode Island; volunteers on local farms; volunteers with the Providence Rescue Mission which feeds, clothes, and houses the homeless; and cooks for families in need through The Bread of Life ministry. In her free time, Carissa enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, and traveling, and lives with her husband and son in the East Side, Providence.
